Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon
Dr. Joseph Hildrebrand, DDS, MD
Dr. Hildebrand is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon with advanced training from Sinai Hospital in Detroit. He earned his dental degree from the University of Detroit after completing his undergraduate studies at Michigan State University. He currently serves as Chief of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Children’s Hospital of Michigan and is on staff at St. John Hospital. His specialties include implant dentistry and reconstructive surgery. Dr. Hildebrand is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and a former board examiner.
Periodontist
Dr. Teresa Heck, DDS, MS
Heck is a highly trained periodontist with advanced surgical expertise in treating gum disease and performing implant and regenerative procedures. She earned dual bachelor’s degrees in Biochemistry and German Studies from the University of Minnesota Duluth, followed by her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities. She went on to complete her specialty training in Periodontics and a Master of Science degree at the University of Michigan. Her clinical focus includes soft tissue grafting, bone regeneration, implant placement, and sinus augmentation. Dr. Heck has also contributed to several published research articles in the field.

A proud graduate of Ferris State University, she’s passionate about creating healthy, confident smiles. As our Treatment & Financial Coordinator, she walks patients through their treatment plans, explains insurance coverage, and helps make financial arrangements that work for each individual. With her friendly approach and deep knowledge of dental billing, RuthAnn ensures that every patient experience is smooth, transparent, and stress-free.
