Dr. Hildebrand is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon with advanced training from Sinai Hospital in Detroit. He earned his dental degree from the University of Detroit after completing his undergraduate studies at Michigan State University.

He currently serves as Chief of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Children’s Hospital of Michigan and is on staff at St. John Hospital. His specialties include implant dentistry and reconstructive surgery. Dr. Hildebrand is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and a former board examiner.

Dr. Heck is a highly trained periodontist with advanced surgical expertise in treating gum disease and performing implant and regenerative procedures. She earned dual bachelor’s degrees in Biochemistry and German Studies from the University of Minnesota Duluth, followed by her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities.

She went on to complete her specialty training in Periodontics and a Master of Science degree at the University of Michigan. Her clinical focus includes soft tissue grafting, bone regeneration, implant placement, and sinus augmentation. Dr. Heck has also contributed to several published research articles in the field.

Laurie brings over 30 years of experience and a calm, caring presence to every patient interaction. As our Lead Clinical Assistant, she plays a key role in making sure each visit runs smoothly and comfortably. Laurie is passionate about patient care and takes pride in creating a welcoming, supportive environment for everyone who walks through our doors.

RuthAnn is dedicated to helping patients feel confident and informed about their dental care. As our Treatment & Financial Coordinator, she walks patients through their treatment plans, explains insurance coverage, and helps make financial arrangements that work for each individual. With her friendly approach and deep knowledge of dental billing, RuthAnn ensures that every patient experience is smooth, transparent, and stress-free.

With over 5 years of experience alongside Dr. Baran, Shamalia brings both expertise and warmth to every patient interaction. She graduated from the University of Detroit Mercy and is passionate about helping patients feel comfortable and confident in their oral health journey. Her gentle approach and attention to detail make her a favorite among patients of all ages.

Natalie is a dedicated dental hygienist who brings a calm, caring presence to every appointment. A proud graduate of the University of Detroit Mercy, she’s passionate about creating healthy, confident smiles. When she’s not in the dental chair, you’ll find her showing homes and helping clients with their real estate goals—making her a true multitasker both in and out of the office.
