If you've had a long time fear of the dentist, like me, then this is the perfect place for people like us! Dr. Baran and her staff are highly skilled, have the most modern equipment and are very compassionate. I was able to overcome my fear of the dentist by seeking hypo-therapy with a licensed hypno-therapist, skilled in working with patients with phobias ( Dr. Kim Manning). While Kim was able to help me overcome my fear, I needed to find a dentist that was willing to work with me, since it had been over 13 years since i had been to the dentist. My research led me to Dr. Baran and Royal Oak smiles. I knew as soon as I walked in the door for my consultation, that I had found the right place! The reception staff and the dental assistant who took my X Rays were wonderful! They were so welcoming that my feelings of shame of not going to the dentist for so long were quickly put to rest. They cared about me and ensured that I was comfortable through each step of the process. Next, I had a consultation with Dr. Baran on the high level treatment plan. Since I needed several procedures, we scheduled a follow up consultation for later that same week. Dr Baran took almost 2 HOURS to go through a proposed treatment plan. We then prioritized the work that I wanted done this year, which included 3 wisdom teeth extractions, 2 root canals, a deep scaling ( cleaning ) and porcelain veneers for my smile line. I started the work in October and my veneers will be in by December 21st, just in time for a family wedding;) While I had quite a bit of work in a short period of time, it has gone great due to the talents of Dr. Baran and her staff. I think you can tell a lot about a place by how the staff feels about their boss. Everyone I came in contact with loved Dr. Baran and talked about her skill and artistry as a dentist. My dental hygienist, Lisa, was also incredible! The procedures she used to clean my teeth were state of the art and so gentle. She made the process seem effortless and believe or not, I was laughing during her treatment. I know this is a long post. I'm hoping if you've read this far, that like me, you have found someone that can make your smile bright again. I'm so grateful to Dr. Baran and her staff!

Dr. Baran and her staff are amazing and so caring. Dr. Baran fixed issues I have had since I was a child and gave me the smile I have always wanted. Painless and perfect experience.

I came to Royal Oak Smiles to get juvederm for my lips. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Dr. Baran really took the time to figure out the results I wanted and was so patient with me. And I absolutely LOVE the results. The assistant Eda was very thorough with what to expect post op. Such a great experience, I will be returning!

Excellent work by Dr. Baran! She is a very talented, professional, and LOVELY dentist. She improved my smile a thousand percent, in addition to taking great care of the health of my teeth. Fabulous office; everyone is so nice and so helpful. From the moment you walk in, everyone is so polite and friendly and warm. Great practice, great environment. I highly recommend the practice not only for great dental healthcare, but for dental beauty and a dedicated, happy, very professional staff!

Dr. Baran has been my family's trusted dentist for some time now, i hadn't seen her in several years due to not living in the area/insurance changes. However i recently broke a tooth (watch out for popcorn kernels) and after not being able to get an appointment with any of the local clinics for at least a month I decided to call her up and explain the situation. She was able to squeeze me in for an evaluation the next day and then for treatment two days after that! Unlike some other dentists i've seen in the past i never felt like Dr. Baran was trying to up-sell me on treatments that i didn't need. She laid out all my options in plain english, was receptive to my concerns and didn't try to unnecessarily push me in the direction of the more expensive treatment options. She works fast and has a soothing, almost motherly bed side manner that will put your anxieties at ease. Her staff is very friendly and fun to talk to as well. The facilities are nice and comfortable (you can watch TV while you're being worked on) and it seemed as though they were doing all they can to reduce the risk of the spread of covid. I will definitely be coming back for any dental work i might need in the future and would recommend you do the same.

The staff is great and Dr. Baran is the best. I highly recommend this office for braces.
